Hello, I'm Barb Ehrgott, Founder and CEO of Hello Betty Jane.

My Mom is Betty Jane, age 92. Widowed in 2010 after a 67 year marriage, she found herself living alone, and I was 1400 miles away. I bought her an Apple IPad and it LITERALLY changed our lives. We can see each other as if we lived next door. I get to see her new hairdos. I can show her my home and the projects I’m working on. And it gives me great pleasure to "see" her and know she is doing well!

One of the Internet's greatest benefits is our ability to feel like we are a part of everyone’s lives, whether we are thousands of mile apart or just down the street. FaceTime and Skype, for example, are two applications created for this very purpose.

By making myself and my computer available, I can help others experience the joy that my mom and I have!

I have been a “Networker” my entire life…connecting people to people, people to products and helping others make their dreams come true. I've done many things in my life that have involved working with people…different types of sales, coaching tennis, PTO and HS Booster Club boards. In 2002, I moved to Florida and missed being a part of my loved ones' lives. But not any more! Thanks to today's technology, I'm able to be there for my children, grandchildren, siblings, and many friends despite the miles between us!
